趁秋天還沒消失 – 聽 《Autumn Leaves》before Autumn Leaves

很喜歡《Autumn Leaves》這首歌，幾乎每年的秋意一來我就想起、哼起。
《Autumn Leaves》的原曲是法文歌《Les Feuilles Mortes》，出自匈牙利作曲家Joseph Kosma之手，翻查資料原來它來自1946年的電影《Les Portes de la Nuit(夜之門)》，此曲一出就震攝了整個法國。1950年，美國的音樂人Johnny Mercer將這首歌的歌詞改寫成英文版的《Autumn Leaves》，自此在美國亦大為流行，多年來不斷被翻唱，至今已有數不清的版本。
我不會法文，只是在一些網上的法文字典查到《Les Feuilles Mortes》大約解作「死去的葉片」；相對來說《Autumn Leaves》這兩個英文字淺白得香港小學生都會解，但其實此歌名簡單得來又很有味道。我不知法文中的「Feuilles(葉)」是否都語帶相關，但起碼我知道「Leaves」是指「葉片」，也是指「離開」，《Autumn Leaves》講落葉、講思念離開了的人、講在思念之中讓日子也一日一日離去。
還有什麼歌比這首更適合秋天去聽呢？
